Dar Swears in Mula as ATI Director IV

DILIMAN, Quezon City – After serving as the Officer-in-Charge since September last year, Rosana Mula on Tuesday took oath as the Director IV of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) administered by the Department of Agriculture Secretary William Dar.

Mula replaced former director Alfredo Aton, who retired from service in 2021.

After the ceremony, she sat down for a quick dialogue with the Agri Chief on further directives and plans for 2022.

DILIMAN, Quezon City—The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is poised to take on new and more focused initiatives to improve its training and advisory services in line with the OneDA Reform Agenda as it welcomes the leadership of newly designated Director Rosana Mula.

Through Special Order No. 629, Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary William Dar designated Mula as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Director of the ATI, following the retirement of Director Alfredo Aton. Aton served as the head of the agency for about two years starting 2019.

DILIMAN, Quezon City—The Department of Agriculture (DA) officially welcomes the new director of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Alfredo Aton, as he takes the reigns and steers the bureau in expanding its services nationwide.

In a short ceremony at the DA head office, Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol swore in Aton as the ATI’s Director IV. ATI division chiefs and training center superintendents were present and showed their full support as they witnessed the oath-taking rites.

DILIMAN, Quezon City—New officer-in-charge (OIC) director, Alfredo Aton, sets the tone for the next few years as the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) turns another leaf under his leadership.

In a meeting with ATI division chiefs, Central Office section chiefs, and training center directors, Aton asked for everyone’s cooperation and support in improving the bureau’s programs and services for the stakeholders and the public.

With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
