ATI Kicks Off 35th Founding Anniversary Celebration

DILIMAN, Quezon City - The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) kicked off its 35th Founding Anniversary celebration on Tuesday with series of activities led by Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary William Dar and ATI Director Rosana Mula.

Dar recognized the Institute’s efforts in agricultural development and emphasized the need for new mindset on capacity-building, focusing on supporting the agricultural extension system.

Dar Swears in Mula as ATI Director IV

DILIMAN, Quezon City – After serving as the Officer-in-Charge since September last year, Rosana Mula on Tuesday took oath as the Director IV of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) administered by the Department of Agriculture Secretary William Dar.

Mula replaced former director Alfredo Aton, who retired from service in 2021.

After the ceremony, she sat down for a quick dialogue with the Agri Chief on further directives and plans for 2022.

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
