The theme for this year's AFNR symposium is "Strengthening the Philippine Agriculture, Fishery, Forestry and Natural Resources (AFFNR) Extension for Rural Transformation in a Globalized Era." It aims to generate a healthy and productive exchange of new ideas and best extension practices to strengthen governance, extension modalities, and competencies of extension professionals and practitioners. Participants from LGUs, NGAs, international institutions, and Private Sector majority of whom are members of PhilEASNet and the Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Network (AFEN) will attend the activity.
