Recent studies show that the average age of farmers are nearing 60 as more and more young people abandon farms to seek work elsewhere. However, this doesn't apply to everyone as young farming enthusiasts thrive in different aspects of agriculture with the use of some of today's trend - modern technology.

The Digital Farmers Program (DFP) caters to these new breed of farmers and bridge them with the current ones as it empower small-scale farmers nationwide by educating and giving them access to available digital tools and technologies. Learn about its initial activities in Bukidnon and Rizal and what DFP is all about with this latest issue of ACCESS, the official publication of the Agricultural Training Insitute.
