2019 World Food Day Underlines Healthy Food For All

The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) expresses its support to the celebration of the World Food Day (WFD) this October 16.

WFD 2019 calls for action across sectors to make healthy and sustainable diets affordable and accessible to everyone. Furthermore, it asks everyone to start thinking about what they eat.

In support to the celebration, agri-exhibits will be held at the Department of Agriculture (DA) grounds on October 14-16. These will feature products from different parts of the country.

World Food Day 2018 Calls for Zero Hunger

The Agricultural Training Institute is one with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in celebrating the World Food Day this October 16.

The celebration for this year will center on #ZeroHunger. This means working together to ensure everyone, everywhere, has access to the safe, healthy, and nutritious food they need. To achieve it, FAO urges everyone to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, work with others, share knowledge, and be willing to help change the world for the better.
