DILIMAN, Quezon City — The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), through its Regional Training Centers (RTCs), spearheaded the roll-out of Provincial Trainings in five target provinces last August 2 to 25, 2021. A total of eight training batches were conducted in Nueva Ecija, Albay, Camarines Sur, Aklan, and Davao de Oro.

DILIMAN, Quezon City – Urban households depend significantly on commercial products for food consumption. However, these food products are expensive, and sometimes are not guaranteed fresh and safe to eat. This, and with the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting most economic activities, food availability and security are critical.

DILIMAN, Quezon City – To ensure the continuous production and supply of quality vegetable seeds in the market amidst the threat of COVID-19, the Department of Agriculture through the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) conducted a training on Vegetable Seed Production and Plant Propagation last February 17-18, 2021 at the Rural Development Education Center of ATI in this city.

Our office, the Agricultural Training Institute sponsored a training on Integrated Organic Agriculture and Agri-Tourism Development at Costales Nature Farms in Majayjay, Laguna. The training was conducted by the Costales family- Sir Ronald, Maam Josie and their son, Reden. We have two husband and wife teams in the group. From interacting with them, I saw the advantages of having both husbands and wives together in one training. (I just wished I brought mine.) This led me to conclude that husbands and wives should attend training together if they plan to go organic:
