Mushroom Production Strategies Showcased in Free Seminar

DILIMAN, Quezon City—To provide knowledge in successful mushroom farming technologies, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) offered a free seminar showcasing cultivation practices and processing of various species of this commodity.

Among the species commonly cultivated are straw and oyster mushrooms. To provide tips on how to successfully grow these, Marilou Facun, mushroom grower and owner of the Tingtano Integrated Farm, served as resource person during the seminar.

Free Seminar Discusses KSA on Mushroom Production

DILIMAN, Quezon City—The latest free seminar of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) offered the public an opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and attitude (KSA) necessary in mushroom production and processing.

With the help of experts from the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) Siniloan Campus, some 490 individuals learned about the importance of KSA in growing and processing mushroom.

Special Free Agri Seminar Held for Women

DILIMAN, Quezon City—Supporting the National Women’s Month campaign of creating an enabling environment for women to be empowered, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) held a special free seminar to expand livelihood opportunities for Filipino women and their families.

Mushroom production is becoming popular in the country and seen as a way to provide practical, innovative, and sustainable livelihood for Filipinas. Hence, the special free seminar focused on mushroom production and processing technologies.
