ATI Accredited Extension Service Providers Distribute Plant Seedlings in their Respective Communities

Accredited extension service providers of the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute led the distribution of ready-to-plant seedlings to household and individuals in their respective communities. This is under the Institute’s Binhi para sa Pamayanan Program to efficiently deliver and eventually sustain the implementation of the Urban Agriculture Program nationwide.

ESP Forum, Expo Promote Local Farmers’ Brand

STA. CRUZ, Quezon City—To increase awareness on local farm products and showcase the country’s brand of agriculture, some 20 private Extension Service Providers (ESPs) certified by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) participated in the Institute’s first ESP Forum and Product Expo.

National and regional ESPs showcased various local farm products and demonstrated latest farming technologies during the three-day activity.

PASAY CITY, Metro Manila—Farmers from Central Luzon and CALABARZON were once again front and center at the Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) exhibit during AgriLink/FoodLink/AquaLink 2019.

Owners of three Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) and one Extension Service Provider (ESP) joined ATI staff for another year in the said expo to promote farming as a viable and sustainable business venture. These are Eco Natural Integrated Farm in Tarlac; Vilela's Farm and MoCA Family Farming RLearning Center in Batangas; and Forest Wood Garden in Laguna.

Converge: First Media Promotion for Organic Agriculture of the Agricultural Training Institute

CALABARZON—About 15 government and private media personnel based in Metro Manila visited successful organic farms in the region to learn about the basics of organic farming, March 25-27.

Agricultural Training Institute's (ATI) Information Services Division and Regional Training Center (RTC) IV-A organized "Converge: First Media Promotion for Organic Agriculture" to enlighten the media about the efforts of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and ATI on organic agriculture.
