School on the Air (Cassava’y sa Pag-asenso)

Terminal Objective:

The School-on the-Air on Cassava’y sa Pag-asenso aims to increase the listener’s knowledge and information access on cassava cultural management and practices for a period of three months through radio broadcasting in the Province of Eastern Samar.

Enabling Objectives:

  1. Discuss the importance of cassava cultural management;
  2. Discuss why weed management is necessary for any cassava plantation;
  3. Distinguish the different characteristics of different pests and diseases of cassava and select their appropriate control; and
  4. Complete the requirements for the SOA graduation.

Target Participants: Open for interested individuals, regardless of age, who has access to radio/indicated radio stations

Airing Schedules: Every Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
