The Department of Agriculture, together with its partner institutions and implementing agencies, will mark the first year of implementing the Republic Act 11203, otherwise known as the Rice Tarrification Law (RTL). The event will showcase the significant milestones of the implementing agencies and their partners t0 ensure the availability of affordable and quality rice, while uplifting the plight of the Filipino farmer producers. Likewise, through the RTL, the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) has been created to implement the major agricultural extension programs specifically designed for the rice farmers of the country.

With. this year's theme "Sa Rice Tarrification Law, Lahat Tayo Panalo!", the event aims to
1. showcase the highlights of accomplishments of the RCEF Component Programs.
2. present the supporting interventions to cushion the adverse impact on the farmers from the low price of play during the transition period. of RTL implementation.
3. feature countryside heroes and success stories on RTL and RCEF interventions.

In support to the national celebration, the DA Regional Field Offices, bureaus, attached agencies and corporations shall hold simultaneous activities commemorating the RTL anniversary in their area such as farmers' field day, ceremonial mechanized harvesting, exhibits, farmers' trade. fairs, among others.
