The Bureau of Agricultural Research published this book to: raise the profile of Palayamanan among farmers, communities, and local governments; document the process of bringing Palayaman to the communities more effectively; share the newly developed sustainable pest management options for popular vegetables like tomatoes, eggplants, crucifiers, and onions for adaptation or adoption by farmers; and lastly, enhance the skills of implementers and facilitators in implementing IPM with farmers from the wholistic perspective of pest management.
