In a decade of providing electronic extension in the Philippines, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to bring information and technology closer to the Filipino farmers and fishers. Now serving to more than 50,000 registered users in the e-learning portal with 55 course offerings, the Institute recently released the "e-Learning Administration: A Handbook for Implementers." The Handbook serves as a guide for the Philippine e-Extension team in the development and delivery of e-learning for the agriculture and fisheries sector. Based on the insights gained and user feedback gathered over time, the guidelines and procedures stipulated in the Handbook were crafted according to the needs and expectations of the farming and fishing communities in the country from a learning organization like the ATI.
