ATI Holds Binhi ng Pag-Asa Program National Year-End Summit

DILIMAN, Quezon City – Intent on recapitulating the learning, experiences, and linkage of the participants throughout this year’s rollout of the Binhi ng Pag-Asa Program (BPP), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) recently conducted the program’s National Year-End Summit last December 16-17, 2021. The activity was attended by youth participants from the five target provinces, who successfully completed the BPP training of trainers, as well as the provincial, city, and municipal trainings.

DILIMAN, Quezon City — The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), through its Regional Training Centers (RTCs), spearheaded the roll-out of Provincial Trainings in five target provinces last August 2 to 25, 2021. A total of eight training batches were conducted in Nueva Ecija, Albay, Camarines Sur, Aklan, and Davao de Oro.

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves.
