The yellow "e" button

Whether it coincided with the "yellow color of the day(s)" the nation had, the enlarged yellow e-Learning buttons spread all over the façade of ATI 8's booth were a hit and captivated many particularly students during the Visayas State University (VSU) 85th Anniversary on August 1-11.

ATI speaks on e-Extension Program during the World IT Forum 2009 in Vietnam

The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), as the lead implementing agency for e-Extension and the extension and training arm of the Philippine Department of Agriculture, has been invited to participate in the 4th World Information Technology Forum (WITFOR) held last August 26 to 28, 2009 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Always, Onward

As aptly told by Ms. Meitats in Demystifying Sagada!, the e-Learning Office coordinators’ first get-together earlier this year was in the highlands of the Cordilleras. The activity reviewed the barely two-year old e-Learning program’s considerable successes and necessarily some lessons learned, and thus properly plan for the trajectory of its future activities.

On learning on wheels

Electronic learning stands in direct contrast to study mission of the observation tour variety. The former allows you to amass knowledge and skills at just a click of the mouse on your computer. The latter brings you physically to the knowledge source so you could observe, investigate, take photos, and interact with the subject matter under your scrutiny. However, both distance learning and observation tours could be very edifying and fruitful experiences.

Chronicled

Just when you thought you already know the e-Learning core group who have been responsible behind the distance learning phenomena in terms of its operations and promotions....well, think again.

Here, I have attempted to demystify every core member from the first impression they emit to their very persona.

Yes, trivial but true.

ATI Today

Extension services continue to evolve. With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times. Nonetheless, we are proud to be standing the test of time through the support of our partners and the clientele themselves. This is the ATI Today, more committed to bring you extension services beyond boundaries.
