Four New Courses Added to e-Learning’s List

DILIMAN, Quezon City – In line with its goal to empower and build the capacities of its stakeholders, the Agricultural Training Institute continues to develop its e-Learning program for agriculture and fisheries.

In addition to its existing 55 free online courses, four new courses were developed and uploaded to provide the growing number of e-Learners with technical knowledge in growing crops, raising livestock, and in agribusiness.

Free Seminar Takes Interest in Mushroom Start-ups to New Level

DILIMAN, Quezon City – To assist its clientele in acquiring skills, knowledge, and attitude on agribusiness, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to offer free seminars on the production and processing of various commodities.

Since growing mushroom has become popular, the Institute turns this trend as an opportunity to provide enthusiasts demonstration of technologies that could help them succeed in this enterprise. Hence, a free seminar on mushroom production was conducted.

AgriTalk Brings ‘Green’ Ideas in Metro Manila

DILIMAN, Quezon City—Metro Manila residents are getting more inspiration to make agriculture as a business venture with the help of farming experts from different parts of the country.

In the third leg of the AgriTalk seminar series, residents from different urban areas became more aware of the benefits of agriculture, particularly, square-foot gardening, mushroom production, organic concoctions, goat production, and exotic fruit trees.

14th National e-Learning Conference Notes ATI Initiatives

BUTUAN City, Agusan del Norte—The electronic learning or e-Learning program of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) exemplified yet again the government’s initiatives in terms of information and communications technology (ICT) in agriculture and fisheries during the 14th National eLearning Conference (NeLC).

ATI Officer-in-Charge Director Luz Taposok, who keynoted the conference, shared the evolution, accomplishments, and further improvements for the e-Learning program as it reached its 10th year.
