Gawad Saka Guidelines Revised for 2019, Ceremony for 2017 Awardees Rescheduled

QUEZON CITY, Metro Manila—To come up with a more relevant and objective search, the Gawad Saka committees convened to refine the guidelines in the selection and awarding of achievers in agriculture and fisheries.

A total of 65 regional coordinators, National Technical Committee (NTC) chairpersons, and staff of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) who serve as the national secretariat for the Search gathered for an entire day of workshop for the new guidelines.

ATI Jumpstarts Career Development Program for AEWs

QUEZON CITY, Metro Manila—With the crucial role of agricultural extension workers (AEWs) in the sustainable growth of the sector, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), through its Career Development and Management Division (CDMD), conducted a technical guidance session to ensure their continual professional growth.

Some 25 staff of the ATI-CDMD and Human Resource Management Unit participated in the two-day activity, which mainly familiarized them on the basics of creating a career development program.

ATI Joins 2018 National Women's Month Celebration

The Agricultural Training Institute joins the celebration of the National Women's Month with the theme "We Make Change Work for Women."

Led by the Philippine Commission on Women, this year's celebration aims inform and engage women as stakeholders of government programs and services​. This is to promote citizen-centric governance and make “change” a conscious effort to know, understand, and provide what​ all​ citizens need​.

On Scaling Up KAS: ATI, WPU Partner for 21-day Training

PUERTO PRINCESA, Palawan – With the recently concluded training and assessment on national competency, Rice Machinery Operations and Maintenance (RMO NC II), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and the Western Philippines University (WPU) are partnering again for another training. This time, the Training on Trainers Methodology Level1 (TM1).

The training aims to enhance the knowledge, attitude, skills (KAS), and work values of the RMO NC II graduates in accordance to the prevailing standards of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training sector.
