ATI Joins Nat’l Movement to Raise Rice Awareness

DILIMAN, Quezon City - The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) showed its support to the National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM) thru several activities this November.

Last November 5, an exhibit was launched at the ATI main lobby which featured products and technologies in rice farming. Among these were traditional rice varieties, alternate wetting and drying technology, rice based products, rice machineries, and the Philippine Rice Information System (PRISM) and Rice Crop Manager (RCM) apps. The said products and technologies were showcased until November 9.

NRAM 2018 Addresses Gap Between Producers, Consumers

The Department of Agriculture, through its bureaus and attached agencies, celebrates the National Rice Awareness Month (NRAM) every November pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 524 Series of 2014.

NRAM aims to encourage every Filipino to do their small share of RICEponsibility by valuing grain of rice and eating healthier rice to benefit themselves, other consumers, rice farmers, and the country as a whole.

Opportunities in Poultry Highlight Free Seminar

DILIMAN, Quezon City—Experts in the field of poultry shared their experiences and knowledge on the Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) Free Seminar on Poultry Production and Processing.

Dr. Rene Santiago from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) of the Department of Agriculture, Raul Rebollos II from the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), and Lulu Rivera from Ultima Entrepinoy Forum Center provided lectures, sharing, and demonstrations to the more than 150 attendees of the seminar.

EHRDP Terminal Report

The EHRDP is intended for scholarships and trainings for the purpose of developing technical, scientific, professionals, and academic workers to meet the challenges and requirements of a modernized agriculture and fisheries sector in the Philippines.

RBME Training Module
