e-Learning by the Numbers

It is another of those once-in-a-lifetime calendar days, this 12/12/12. Though really just representing a short day format, it is nevertheless, the last time that you'll see calendar days align. The next one will be a century later, in Jan. 1, 2101 when it's 01/01/01. Lucky day or not, I wouldn't notice. Definitely, 12/11 is more relevant for me. It's e-Learning's [for agriculture and fisheries] birthday!

A blog gives you plenty of opportunity to express deep-seated beliefs and trivial pursuits. It’s quite liberating. So given the chance to write a blog in between activities trying to get out of a work backlog, I grab the chance to write.

One Message, One Objective: to Make a Difference

We hear a lot of statements in the field regarding the e-extension program of ATI right after we conduct briefings and or advocacies.

Most of these are queries on how the program works, how we monitor enrollees, how we sent out certificates, how much time do these learners spent to internet cafes in order to finish one (1) course. Or how can they reach or contact us to give briefings to their organization, colleagues and circle of friends. These and more are just one of the many classic experiences we encounter in the field.

As I have been oriented on how organic farming is being practised, I am for it.

Visiting some organic farms recently convinced me that we can go back to the way things were.
I was amazed with the food that we tasted, with the drinks they gave us. With simple preparations and without artificial seasonings, they tasted so good. That's why slowly I am doing it at home.
