Disaster Risk Management Training for ATI Employees Continues

DILIMAN, Quezon City – Pursuant to Republic Act 10121, or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to improve its disaster response management measures.

In line with this, two training activities were held for selected ATI employees, namely, the Incident Command System (ICS) Training and Ladderized Training on Emergency Response (Level II).

With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
