DILIMAN, Quezon City – The latest free seminar from the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), this time focusing on Cutflower Production and Flower Arrangement, left participants with high hopes on starting afresh and exploring new ventures.
DILIMAN, Quezon City – Shoppers from Metro Manila flocked the stalls of around 90 farmers and agricultural organizations during the two-day “TienDA Farmers and Fisherfolk Outlet” at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Compound.
Spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture (DA), TienDA features fresh fruits, vegetables, rice, and other agricultural and fishery products from different farms nationwide sold at farm gate prices. This new marketing scheme ensures that farmers’ products can be directly sold to the consumers in urban areas without the intervention of middlemen.

With the challenges that extension workers and farmers face, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) continues to explore various strategies to improve its efforts as the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture. In over 30 years, the ATI has celebrated various successes and learned from the lessons during hard times.
