Bloggers’ Event Showcases Organic Farming in Bicol

BICOL - The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) conducted its 9th Bloggers’ Event last September 18-20, showcasing organic agriculture practices and products in this region and promoting them with the help of local travel and lifestyle bloggers.

Seven bloggers were invited to tour around organic farms in Camarines Sur and Albay. These farms are established Learning Sites of ATI Regional Training Center (RTC) V and each has its own unique products and services.

Asian Food and Agribusiness Conference Underlines Organic Product Exportation

TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite—The Development Academy of the Philippines, in partnership with the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), conducted the “Asian Food and Agribusiness Conference” this September 13-15 in this city.

With the theme “Enhancing exports of Organic Products”, the event served as a platform for leaders of the agrifood sector to discuss emerging trends as well as success and challenges affecting the productivity and sustainability of Asian organic agrifood small- and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs).

Agri Agencies to Develop Training Program to Regulate Food Safety

QUEZON CITY, Metro Manila – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is set to lead a team of officials from different concerned agencies in the development of a food safety regulation training program.

In preparation for this, the Department of Agriculture (DA) Food Safety Conference was held last August 25. Discussions focused on enhancing the knowledge and appreciation of the participants on their roles and responsibilities under the Food Safety Act.
