The International Centre for development oriented Research in Agriculture (ICRA) of The Netherlands is an international organization founded through the initiative of European members of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).

The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) conducted a research study on how to measure and examine innovation in Philippine business and industry, hence, the 2015 Survey of Innovation Activities. This is in response to the clamor of private and government firms, and among others, to improve their performance in their respective field of business.

In the Philippines, La Nina is associated with increased rainfall, intensified tropical cyclones, and flooding. In terms of crop growth, the increase in rainfall causes inadequate respiration of plant roots due to insufficient oxygen supply.

Mud crab is considered an important source of income for small scale coastal farmers in the country and across Southeast Asia. However, according to reports, aquaculturists were alarmed with the rate of mud crab mortality due to some diseases and cannibalism in the deep ocean (Shelly and Lovatelli, 2011; Quinito and Esterpa, 2008; Quinito et al., 2002; Keenana and Blackshaw, 1999).

The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) funded a study on organic production of potato in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). The research was conducted by a team from the Benguet State University (BSU).

This Common Framework on Agricultural Extension is a product of an informal group of representatives of bilateral and multilateral cooperation agencies and institutions from Sub-Saharan Africa countries that are involved in agricultural development.
