BOAC, MARINDUQUE – To effectively conduct a training program, 22 newly hired Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) in the different municipalities in Marinduque took part in the “Specialized Training Course on Training Management” on March 15-17, 2022.

The three-day training was conducted via a blended approach. After passing the online course (TM1) as a prerequisite of the face-to-face training, hands-on activities were conducted to improve the participants’ skills and knowledge in conducting and facilitating training.

Assistant Center Director Ruben P. Jugno, Planning Officer II Mel D. Manalo, and Development Management Officer I Mark Joseph D. Buñag served as Resource Speakers during the training. They discussed the topics on Adult Learner; The Trainer; The Training Management Team; Training Needs Assessment; Parts of Training Design; Introduction to Training Evaluation; Training Tasks and Facilitation; and Presentation Skills.

"Marami po akong natutunan sa training na ito na kung saan di lang po sa pagsasagawa ng pagsasanay kundi pati sa ating personal na buhay na ginagawa na natin. Katulad na lang po kung papaano lalakas ang loob natin sa pagharap sa ating mga magsasaka lalo na kapag hinihingan nila tayo ng tulong", John Raefael M. Pedernal, Agricultural Technologist said.
