The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in MiMaRoPa will launch its School-on-the-Air (SOA) program on Dairy Farming, dubbed as “Gabay at Kaalaman sa Pag-aalaga ng Gatasang Baka at Kalabaw” in Oriental Mindoro on July 7, 2020.

As one of DA-ATI innovative platforms, the SOA speeds up information dissemination regarding technology on agriculture and fisheries through series of radio broadcasts.

The topics will focus mainly on various methods and best practices in feeding, health and breeding management in dairy farming.

To monitor the listenership of the enrolees, the SOA will include evaluation schemes like Short Messaging System (SOA Text Promo) and enrolled enrolees will be given short quiz, long exam and final exam.
In partnership with the Provincial Agriculture Office, Provincial Veterinary Office and Municipal Agriculture Offices in Gloria, Bansud, Roxas and Mansalay in Oriental Mindoro, the program will be aired in Hot FM 98.9 Radyo Natin Roxas, every Tuesday and Wednesday, 12:00 NN -1:00 PM.
