With ATI MiMaRoPa’s desire to adhere with the directives of combatting this COVID 19 pandemic outbreak and the yearning of Longfield Agricultural Learning Center, lead initiator of the Farm2Table Project, to expand its services, made way to the formulation of “Garden on Wheels Project”.
It is thru the project where “growing your own food” concept will be instilled among stakeholders; in a way, they will be able to establish their own home garden as the project provides seeds, seedlings and gardening materials as well as agricultural technologies. The project which shall start to grind on May 3rd week is in support to the #PlantPlantPlant Program under the Urban Agriculture Project of the Department of Agriculture.
Moreover, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) has been inked by #atimimaropa Center Director Pat Andrew B. Barrientos with Mr. Derwin D. Evangelista, learning site cooperator of Longfield Learning Center with regards to the implementation of the GOW Project.
