First introduced last 2018, the 2nd batch of Back to Basic: Scientific and Sustainable Livestock and Poultry Production program was again launched on May 22, 2019 at ATI, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

In the said seminar, the farmers were encouraged to go back to the basics in raising free range chicken and native ducks. They were also briefed on the proper poultry management and the corresponding responsibilities as beneficiaries of the program. In addition, part of the seminar was the signing of agreement and certificate of participation/acknowledgement of receipt.

The participants appreciated the sharing of best practices in duck and free-range chicken production of Mr. Marvel A. Hernandez, private consultant and Ms. Neri S. Fontanilla. They said that the tips and learning gained from the seminar will be of big help in the increasing the poultry industry in the province and eventually improve their lives.

After attending the seminar, some of the participants received their post-training support (mallard duck and free-range chicken) while the others are still waiting for their turn to receive the same.

A total of 403 participants attended the Free-Seminar on Livestock.
