Caring for the Next Generation

Capacitating the participants on the basic food processing in support to child health and nutrition, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center MiMaRoPa trained the 38 Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Brgy. Health Workers and RIC Members of the nutritious and healthy food to be served for children.

Ms. Neri S. Fontanilla, a registered midwife and a learning site cooperator served as resource speaker of the training. She discussed topics about Nutrition, Malnutrition, Child Nutrition, and Health and Nourishing Food Processing for children. The highlight of the activity was the actual demonstration on food processing wherein participants learned to cook, process and present healthy foods delectably and creatively.
Training on Early Child Care was held in Odiongan , Romblon on June 25-27, 2018.
