Aiming to build the capabilities and skills of farmers in farm mechanization and to raise the level of awareness and adaptability in farm machineries the Training Course on Agricultural and Fishery Mechanization for Farmer Leaders: “Kakayahan ng Magsasaka’y Linangin, Mekanisasyon ng Agrikultura’y Palaganapin” was conducted last May 16-19, 2018.

The activity was participated by 27 AEWs farmer leaders and machine operators from the provinces of Oriental and Occidental Mindoro and Romblon.

Aside from the lectures related to mechanization, the participants performed basic troubleshooting for small farm engines as well as operating tractor.

Also, an open forum was held to address the important issues and concerns of the participants when it comes to agricultural mechanization in their respective areas.
