"I am satisfied for the excellent presentation and inspiring plans and programs of ATI to help us achieved sustainable Organic Agriculture (OA) through intensified trainings and seminars to OA practitioners and non-practitioners."

This was a heartwarming statement of Assistant Provincial Agriculturist Ely H. Vargas of the Office of the Provincial Agriculture-Oriental Mindoro on the recently concluded Local Technical Committee (LTC) Meeting on OA in the province.

During the activity, the participants were updated on the concept of OA and its legal basis, as well as enlightened them on their responsibilities as member of OA LTC. Moreover, the participants were able to come up with action plans that will harmonize the programs of LGUs and ATI for a more efficient and effective implementation of OA program for this year.

A total of 26 participants composed of AEWs and farmers attended the meeting at ATI-RTC-MiMaRoPa, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on February 14, 2018.
