Two batches of Training of Trainers on Hybrid Rice Production were conducted this June 2018. This was participated by 41 AEWs assigned in the promotion of hybrid rice from the rice producing municipalities in Palawan and Oriental Mindoro last June 18-22, 2018 and June 24-29, 2018 respectively.

This activity aims to promote use of hybrid seeds in rice production. Topics discussed include; Review of rice industry in the Philippines, Basic principle of hybrid rice production; PalayCheck system for hybrid rice production, farm safety operations and hybrid program updates from private seed companies and DA-RFO MiMaRoPa.
