To promote the ICT-based in Rice and Agriculture and introduce new technologies in Hybrid Rice Production, ATI MIMAROPA conducted the Knowledge Sharing and Learning (KSL) on April 23, 2018 at Janiva’s Farm, Malinao, Narra, Palawan with 22 farmer participants from the municipality of Narra. This is in response to DA’s thrust to improve rice production through the use of hybrid rice.

During the activity, participants shared their knowledge and different practices in planting hybrid rice. They also became aware of the different ICT-Based Tools on rice and agriculture and appreciated its uses and how it will benefit them in farming.
At the end of the activity the farmers received 5 kilos of hybrid rice for trial.
