As part of the continuing phase in ICS, a 5-day training of Internal Control System for Smallholder Groups Phase II for Farmer’s Organization for Rural Upliftment of Mindoro (FORUM) was conducted on on June 25-29, 2018 at Jopat’s Resort, Poblacion, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.

Phase II involves the training of the ICS staff. Upon the completion of the internal standard and operating manual developed in Phase I, the selected ICS staff will then be trained to fulfill their tasks and functions.

During the training, workshops were conducted as part of the activities to train the participants on the documentation process of certification. The group prepared the product process flow and risk assessment of dairy milk, boneless bangus and calamansi concentrate production.

After the workshop, mock farm inspection was conducted to demonstrate the actual scenario happening during inspection. At the end of the training, the participants were able to prepare their own product processing inspection report and farm inspection form.
