“Expect us to promote agriculture in our area and will share the lectures we have learned here,” says Polane S. Gumiran, 4H Club Mansalay during the Leadership Training For 4H Members: "Uncovering The Leader In You" on May 20 – 22, 2019.

The activity was a great avenue to unleash the potentials and sense of leadership of 4H members of Mansalay. As the Dr. Christian M. Alberto, resource speaker imparted the significant characteristics of a true leader; the participants became more motivated in pushing their respective goals.

Moreover, the participants also understood the importance of 4H organization, its history and qualification. They also individually recited the 4H pledge and did the candle lighting ceremony to further instill in their minds what the 4H Club is all about.

Through these activities, Joven Malones of 4H Club Mansalay shared how their group was organized and their accomplishments during the past years. As their future plan, they want to be nominated in the Gawad Saka Award, a big dream which also requires great efforts.

Aside from 4H and leadership topics, farm tourism, organic agriculture production and role of youth in agriculture were also discussed. To appreciate more the agriculture, they were exposed in farming activities during their learning journey at ATI Techno Demo and Kwarto Maria’s Farm in Victoria, Oriental Mindoro.
Said training was held at ATI Compound, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro with 25 4H members.
