With the aim to further capacitate Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) on the effective dissemination and implementation of the Rice Crop Manager in the region, the Agricultural Training Institute in MiMaRoPa conducted the Training on Rice Crop Manager Advisory Services on May 28-31, 2019 at ATI MiMaRoPa, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
A total of 61 participants composed of Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmers attended the two batches of Skills Training on Cassava Processing in Buenavista, Marinduque and Ferrol, Romblon on May 7 – 9, 2019 and May 27 – 29, 2019, respectively.

Famudulan, Agricultural Technologist of LGU-San Andres during the Training Course on Rice Grain Drying and Milling Principles and Systems on May 22 – 24, 2019 at ATI, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
First introduced last 2018, the 2nd batch of Back to Basic: Scientific and Sustainable Livestock and Poultry Production program was again launched on May 22, 2019 at ATI, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
Edible landscaping has gained in popularity because people gained more appreciation for “beautiful food” by growing crops creatively and innovatively.
With its theme “Combining Beauty with Bounty”, the Gender-Based Training on Edible Landcaping was attended with 25 farmers and Agricultural Extension Workers in Odiongan, Romblon.

High Value Crops Development Program had its successful start of the Season-Long Training of Trainers (SL-TOT) on Vegetable Production with its ten-day intensive training held last May 2-11, 2019. It was participated by 26 Agricultural Extension Workers and ATI staff from the province of Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro and Romblon.
For the first time, the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Institute (ATI-RTC) MiMaRoPa in partnership with DA-Regional Field Office MiMaRoPa held its 1st Rural-Based Organization (RBO) Regional Farm Family Congress themed “Farm Family: The Key Towards Food Availability, Sustainability and Affordability”.
To strengthen the implementation of agri-credit programs of the Department of Agriculture among farmers and fisher folk, the DA expanded its financial literacy trainings across the country through the Agricultural Training Institute, as training arm of DA in collaboration with the Agricultural Credit Policy Council.
