Casubuan, Network Controller I attended a back to back session of online activities on Digital Farmers Program (DFP) 102 Design Thinking Workshop and Rice Crop Manager (RCM) National Updating and Planning Workshop.
In pursuant to the Department’s agricultural modernization and agro-industrialization thrusts, Occidental Mindoro was chosen to be the pilot province for MIMAROPA region for the establishment of Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Services. PAFES shall serve as the institutional arrangement in integrating the implementation of DA's various programs and related support services.

The Agricultural Training Institute launches the Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center in the Municipality of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro on February 15,2021. FITS Bansud which will be managed by the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Engr. Sonny Boy Manato, Municipal Agriculture Officer, is the 37th Center established under the Techno Gabay Program of ATI MiMaRoPa.
To entice and encourage more young Filipino farmers into agriculture, the Agricultural Training Institute in partnership between Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office of the Philippines (TECO) launched the Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan.
ATI MiMaRoPa through RCEF Program facilitates the Inter-Agency Meeting and Workshop on RCEF at ATI-RTC-MiMaRoPa CAFÉ Hall, Barcenaga, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
#ATIMIMAROPA participates in the Digital Farming 101 Rollout Assessment held via online platform on February 5, 2021. Issues and best practices were tackled as to improvement of the DFP implementation for the current year.
