Stakeholders to harmonize RCEF Extension Program activities

BUTUAN CITY – As the lead agency for the Extension Services Program of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF), the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 will conduct a consultation, briefing, and target-setting on October 1-2, 2019.

This is to harmonize the program’s activities to be undertaken by the Center. The briefing will also discuss the issues and concerns regarding its implementation.

Representatives from the key agencies - Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), LandBank of the Philippines, and Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) will attend the said activity.

Moreover, Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from the three provinces of Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will also join in the one-day event.
