“We need to tell the stories of our clients who have made a positive difference with demonstrated impacts as a result of our extension efforts,” explained Antonieta J. Arceo, Chief of the Information Services Division (ISD) of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) during the writing workshop entitled A Tale to Tell: Writeshop on Success Stories in Agriculture (Batch 2), held at the Igorot Lodge, Camp John Hay, Baguio City last July 3-7, 2017.

A total of 19 participants from various regional training centers of ATI and from the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) attended the said writeshop. They were composed of information officers, media production specialists, and other technical staff.
During the five-day writeshop, the participants underwent the following: inputting on principles and guidelines in feature writing, standards in capturing good photos, principles and guidelines in copyediting and proofreading, critiquing of work, and submission of outputs.

This is the second time such activity was held and is aimed to document extraordinary feat of Filipino farmers, fisherfolk, extension workers, and other stakeholders through the participants’ well-written success story articles. After the stories are finalized, it will be packaged into a book as a second series of Morphoses which was launched January this year.
