DEL MONTE, Talacogon, Agusan del Sur- The Regional Technical Working Committee (RTWC) of the Techno Gabay Program (TGP) conducted an evaluation in Del Monte Lowland Rainfed Research Station (DMLRRS) on August 7, 2019.
The RTWC comprised representatives from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Caraga State University (CSU), and Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT). This was led by the Center Director of the Agricultural Training Institute- Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13.
The proposed Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center of the Department of Agriculture (DA) Caraga region’s research station based in Talacogon, Agusan del Sur is on its way to serve more citizen-customers who wanted to avail their quality services and technologies.
Ms. Catherine B. Juyno, Senior Science Research Specialist of DA Caraga introduced her FITS staff and answered questions regarding the FITS requirement during the evaluation. Magsasaka Siyentista (MS) nominees were also interviewed along with their respective farms right after the FITS center’s evaluation.
Ms. Kresthyl G. Antiga from DILG 13, Dr. Criselmo C. Calinawan from CHED 13, Mr. Rodel G. Pasion from CSU and Mr. Fil Victor A. Babanto from ATI-RTC 13 did the said evaluation.
