SAN LUIS, Agusan del Sur- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 conducted a monitoring and evaluation survey to the Tier II recipients on May 9, 2019.

This was headed by Senior Agriculturist Heracleo A. Paler and Planning Officer II and Tier II Project Officer Nena Lomuntad. Along with the group were Ligaya Antiola, Admin Officer I, Aurea Janine Abucay Budget Officer and Ginalyn Arbutante, I.O II of the ATI-Caraga.

Farmers in Brgy. Baylo, San Luis, Agusan del Sur were thankful to the ATI for considering their barangay as one of the Tier II recipients in the province. ATI staff monitored and were amazed to their established organic vegetable garden.

“Tier II beneficiaries in San Luis garnered the most outstanding project specifically in their vegetable production, they really excel in it,” Lomuntad said.
On the other hand, Sr. Ag. Heracleo A. Paler expresses his greatest gratitude to the farmers for continuing the projects of Tier II in their own barangay. He also encouraged everyone to set as model to others in nearby communities.

Moreover, staff from the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Luis strongly support the said program through their unending cooperation in all activities conducted related to Tier II. This is also with the full participation of the barangay officials headed by the Brgy. Captain of Baylo, San Luis.

Farmers received additional supports such as vegetable seeds, basins and other materials to be used for their garden and poultry.
