Participants of the Seminar on Vegetable Gardening for PWDs appreciated the different gardens of ATI-RTC XIII which showcase various gardening styles.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Geared to empower marginalized sectors of the society through the promotion of people growing their own food, 15 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) or now called as differently-abled persons visited the Food Park nATIn of Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII on June 15, 2021.
This benchmarking activity is part of the Seminar on Vegetable Gardening for the PWDs held on June 14-15, 2021 at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City. The goal is to educate the participants in growing vegetables and ensuring food availability at home especially in this time of the pandemic.
The participants also visited the Farm Family Resource Management for Sustainability (FFARMS) of ATI-Caraga.
