LSA Cooperator, FITS Kiosk owner receives ICT equipment

LORETO, Agusan del Sur- The Certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) Farm in Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Loreto, Agusan del Sur received an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment from the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13.

The said farm is owned by Gloria Paguntalan who established the recently launched Farmers’ Information and Technology Services (FITS) Kiosk on June 17, 2021. Paguntalan received a Laptop, printer and other office supplies and materials that would be useful in the FITS Kiosk.

Fil Victor A. Babanto, Chief of the Information Services Section (ISS) of ATI-RTC 13 handed the said equipment to Paguntalan during the launching ceremony on the said date.

The Paguntalan Farm is supported by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Loreto, Agusan del Sur through the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by OIC-Municipal Agriculturist Samson Ramilo. The LGU’s FITS Center actively assists the Paguntalan Farm FITS Kiosk specifically in accessing various Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.

This is all along with a unified goal, that is delivering quality extension service to the neighboring farmers and fisherfolk, students and other stakeholders in the locality.
