ATI, FITS shutterbugs to harness photography skill

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – “It’s all in the Click.” This is the subtitle of the Training on Photography and Vlogging to be conducted by ATI-RTC 13. This line may be vague for now but on June 22-25, 2021 participants of this training will have an in-depth understanding on the real meaning of those words.

This training will be participated in by the select staff of ATI-RTC 13 and the Farmers Information Technology Services (FITS) Center. This was conducted to cater to other staff of ATI and FITS who were not able to join the photography training held last February 17-20, 2020 – which was just a month prior to lockdowns and quarantine measures in relation to the Covid pandemic.

Fil Victor A. Babanto, Information Officer III and Project Officer of this training, believes in the importance of taking photos as supporting materials in documentation, reports, and news/feature stories. Photos can be convincing evidence that captures farmer’s triumph in farming. Unlike last year where photo editing was among the topic discussed, this year the secondary topic will be on vlogging which has become relevant and popular during this time of the pandemic.

Multi-awarded photojournalist and Philippine Daily Inquirer correspondent Erwin Mascariñas will again act as a resource person during the entire training duration.
