Ginalyn V. Arbutante served as Resource Person during the first batch of the Digital Farmers Program 101 training in Bislig City on June 8, 2021.
BRGY. LOS ANGELES, Butuan City- The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 will be conducting a two-day training on Digital Farmers Program (DFP) 101 on June 15-16, 2021.
The second batch of the said training will be held at San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.
This is in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office of San Agustin, Surigao del Sur headed by Municipal Agriculturist Genalyn L. Campos. The MAO will be the venue of training through its established Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center.
The DFP 101 aimed at encouraging farmers to utilize smartphones, the internet, Agricultural applications, and social media marketing in boosting their farming productivity.
Moreover, the DFP 101 training will be participated by 10 farmer-youth pairs. During the training session, the youth representative will mainly assist his partner farmer in the hands-on exercises and help answer any questions his farmer representative may have.
Fil Victor A. Babanto, Information Officer III and Ginalyn V. Arbutante, Information Officer II both from ATI-Caraga will be the Resource Persons during the training.
