ATI mgt reconnects via video conferencing to discuss issues amid quarantine restrictions

BUTUAN CITY - Amid the travel restrictions and orders against the conduct of face-to-face meetings and social gatherings, the regional and national directors and division chiefs of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) found a way to reconnect via video conferencing technology to discuss issues and updates happening at the regional and national levels last Monday, April 13, 2020.

Presiding the online meeting was ATI National Director Alfredo Aton. Among those present were Deputy Director Rosana Mula, key personnel of ATI Central Office and Center Directors of the regional training centers including the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ITCPH).

Each participant was given time to give situational reports, issues and updates. The general concerns were centered on the implementation of skeletal force, stranded employees and hazard pay scheme. Meanwhile others shared strategies on how they maximized their time while working from home by boosting their social media sites and promoting the e-learning program. As per the directives of Secretary William Dar and Senator Cynthia Villar, the promotion and implementation of urban gardening projects were also intensified despite the limited staff reporting for duty. Plans of reprogramming and rescheduling of 2020 activities were also discussed.
