Individuals/ Representatives of the 12 newly-certified Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) receives their certificates on January 29, 2020 during the 33rd ATI Anniversary Regional Celebration.
Los Angeles, Butuan City – Supporting the governments' thrust towards the promotion of Farm Tourism in the country, 12 new Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) received their certificates from the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI) XIII on January 29, 2020.
The newly-certified LSA were the following: Basmayor Farm from Mainit, Surigao del Norte; Mejeno’s Farm from Basilisa, Province of Dinagat Islands; Paguntalan’s Diversified Farm from Loreto, Agusan del Sur (ADS); Green Haven Adventure Farm Bayugan City, ADS; Agricultural Resource Center – Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur from San Francisco, ADS; Jolly Goat Dairy Farm from Dumalagan, Butuan City; Billonid Farm from Tungao, Butuan Cit; Amparitas Integrated Natural Farm from Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur; Alegado’s Farm from Buenavista, Agusan del Norte (ADN); JRS Diversified Agri-Farm RTRomualdez, ADN; Butuan City Integrated Diversified Organic Farm from Pigdaulan, Butuan City; FRIEND Organic Farm from San Francisco, ADS; and Sunrise Organic Farm Resort Integrated Diversified Farm from Bonbon, Butuan City.
The certificates were handed over by Samuel L. Calonzo – Center Director, Heracleo A. Paler – OIC Asst. Center Director, and Matt Andrew G. Baquiano – OIC Head of Partnership and Accreditation Services Section.
As of now, there are 84 active LSA in Caraga region.
Further, the said awarding ceremony was one of the highlights of the 33rd Anniversary of ATI celebrated by the Center on the date mentioned.
