BUNAWAN, Agusan del Sur- To start the year right, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13 reignites and strengthens partnership among State Colleges and Universities (SCUs) in the region.

Just this month, ATI’s Information Services Section (ISS) Chief Fil Victor Babanto visited the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) and have a coordination meeting with Mr. Elizer Barrios, Vice President on Research, Development and Extension.

Mr. Babanto presented updates of the e-Extension and Techno Gabay programs wherein ASSCAT is one of the partner SUCs. It was agreed that there will be a realignment of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with regards to e-Learning which was included in the school’s curriculum. Schedule on the orientation of the newly-hired teachers and faculty regarding e-Learning and TGP will be set based on the school’s convenient time.

On the other hand, Ms. Teresita Alagenio, ASSCAT FITS Center Manager also present during the meeting. She took notes on the possible trainings and activities subject for proposal and partnership with the institute.

The meeting was held in the RDEC’s Office, ASSCAT, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur on January 14, 2020.
