Former Center Director Samuel L. Calonzo of ATI-Caraga 13 thanked his staff for their support to his leadership as head of the regional training center since 2018.
LOS ANGELES, Butuan City - Samuel L. Calonzo has formally retired as Center Director of the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XIII (ATI-RTC 13). On November 26, 2021, the office held a special tribute entitled “Salamat, Mabuhay” Retirement Celebration for the former director.
In retrospect, Calonzo first became an Officer-in-Charge in the Center last January 1, 2018. A year later, in 2019, he became a full-fledged Center Director.
He was a Training Center Superintendent I for three years from 2015 and up to the present. Prior to this, he was a Training Specialist III for 11 years (2004-2015) and an Agriculturist II for 14 years (1990-2004). He is considered both a pillar and a pioneer in ATI having been in the Institute for 31 years and 40 years in government service.
Effective December 1, 2021, Fil Victor A. Babanto assumes the designation as OIC Center Director.
