Brgy. Captain Lorna T. Calo of Crossing Luna, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur receives extension support of FITS Kiosk under RCEF Program from ATI-RTC XIII on December 11, 2020.
ESPERANZA, Agusan del Sur – After its evaluation held last September 23, 2020, five barangays of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur received extension support from the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII as Farmers Information Technology and Services (FITS) Kiosk under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) on December 11, 2020.
These are the following barangays: Crossing Luna, Catmonon, Piglawigan, Sta. Fe, and Dakutan. Each of them got one round table, 5 pieces of monoblock chairs, one piece of steel cabinet, 100 pieces of RCEF toolkit, and IEC materials.
Through these FITS Kiosks, ATI aims to ease access of farmers to agricultural information especially on RCEF as well as increase awareness and understanding of the program.
The said activity was done successfully by ATI-RTC XIII represented by Ressell Angelie Fetalsana of the Information Services Section (ISS) in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office represented by Ismael Saguran, Agricultural Technologist - Information Services Specialist of the Municipal FITS Center.
