SOA graduates claim their sack of fertilizer and certificate of completion in their respective municipality/city.
TANDAG CTIY, Surigao del Sur- More than 300 farmers from the five (5) participating local government units (LGU) of Surigao del Sur received one (1) sack of fertilizer as a starter kit for the School-on-the-Air (SOA) program on Rice Production in the province.
The said farmers are the identified SOA graduates from the municipalities of Cagwait, Bayabas, Tago, Cortes and Tandag City. Fertilizer distributions were held in the respective participating municipalities/city in Surigao del Sur such as Cagwait, Bayabas, Tago, Cortes and Tandag City. SOA Coordinators facilitated the said activity right after the graduation on-air ceremony.
This is also in support of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist of Surigao del Sur(OPAg-SDS) through Fritzieh Trujillo as Provincial SOA Coordinator. Along with the full effort of Neptalie Palero, Geralyn Guibao, Rommel Eric Ebuna, Maries Turaja and Carmel Lynn Deguito as municipal/city SOA Coordinators.
The SOA Program on Rice Production is funded under the Rice Program of the Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) 13.
