LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – Just this month, six Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSAs) of the Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) XIII received extension support from various fund sources.
On November 9, 2021, Reynaldo Torres of RHISAJ Farm received one unit of biomass shredder machine and Rogilio Gildo, owner of RG Farm in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur, received laptop, projector, speaker, grass cutter, chairs, and tables under the Regular Fund.
On the other hand, Marcos Tello Jr. owner of MTJ Farm located at Purok 2, Capalayan, Surigao City also got support under the Rice Program.
Under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF), the following were able to receive extension support: Frankie Mijares of Avancenia Beneficiaries and Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative; Claudio Uriat, Jr. of KimZiMar Farm; Josephine A. Orbino, owner of St. Thomas Micro-farm Learning Center in Masayan, Veruela, Agusan del Sur.
The LSA is a farm certified by ATI practicing applicable agricultural technologies, employing doable farming strategies and operating successfully.
